22 Best Push Cleaners In 2023: Detailed Reviews

Have you ever bought a cleaning solution online?

All the promises in the world can’t ensure that it will clean what you need it to clean and you can’t know if it will without testing it out.

But the best substitute for testing it is reading a good honest review of the product, and that’s what I’m here to give you today while telling you what the best push cleaner is!

Check them all out and pick the one that best suits your needs!

1. CarGuys Super Cleaner – Effective All Purpose Cleaner

Cleaning solutions often have a few nasty side-effects, which just make you want to use water instead. The smell is usually the worst thing ever.

In that regard, this universal cleaner does a marvelous job. It leaves no odor and doesn’t stain surfaces or leave any residue behind. You won’t even notice it after you finish cleaning.

It comes in a good spray bottle, and it works on most surfaces, though it works best on cars as you might suspect by the brand name.

It’s relatively inexpensive too, and they guarantee your money back as well. You get a lot of cleaning solution for your money here.

However, if you’re looking to get rid of long-lasting, persistent stains, this is not the cleaning solution you want to use.

It’s great for fresher, surface stains but those deep stains will need a cleaner that’s more heavy-duty than this one is.

2. Puracy Natural All Purpose Cleaner, Streak-Free Household Multi-Surface Spray

The one thing you’re always worried about when you use cleaning solutions is the harmful chemical content – especially if you have pets or children running around the house!

Luckily, this cleaning solution is made from natural, plant-derived materials and approved by doctors.

It is completely safe for children, pets, and people with allergies. It’s bio-degradable as well, and it’s vegan-friendly – no animal materials or animal testing.

The cost is not high either, and you get a decent amount of solution for a fair price. The bottle looks sleek, and the sprayer works well.

It doesn’t leave a residue on most surfaces, but it might leave some streaks when used on glass, so be careful with that.

Besides that, it’s also not a heavy-duty cleaner. If you want to clean old or heavy stains, it won’t do well.

Otherwise, it’s great, especially for those looking for a safer, more natural option and it performs as well as any chemical cleaner.

3. Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Multi-Surface Everyday Cleaner, Lavender, 16 ounce bottle

When you use a cleaner, what’s the worst thing about it?

If you said ‘the smell,’ you’re right! That’s what most people would say I think.

With Mrs. Meyer’s cleaner, you don’t have to worry about that – it works as a freshener too, and it smells great. This particular variant comes with the great aroma of lavender.

The smell is mostly natural, and this is a product made without animal testing. It lasts for a while, too, and it will leave any room feeling fresh for a long time.

However, it’s not a glorified freshener – it works well, even on some tougher stains. You’ll be surprised by what it can do, especially on surfaces like tiles and countertops.

I just wish the bottle it comes in was a bit better – it tends to leak too much, and the sprayer doesn’t work too well.

You’re better off just transferring the cleaner to a better bottle since you’ll waste a lot of it otherwise.

4. Formula 409 Multi-Surface Cleaner, Spray Bottle, Lemon

Cleaners get spent awfully fast, and they can be a huge drain on your budget – but you have to buy them since leaving your home dirty could have bad consequences.

For the budget-minded among you, this cleaner will be almost perfect. The cost is amazing for what you get, and it can be used on a wide variety of surfaces – tiles, marble, granite, steel and so on.

It’s easily able to kill most germs, and it has a fresh lemony scent to it.

You might think it might be watered down at this price, but it’s still decently strong and can deal with most stains easily.

It leaves no residue on any surfaces, and it’s completely safe to use.

However, it can’t work on porous surfaces – it just works on hard, non-porous ones, so be careful what you clean with it. It’s definitely not meant for cleaning glass or wood, for example.

5. Grill Cleaner Spray – Professional Strength Degreaser

Grease is probably the worst thing to clean – it always seems to leave some residue behind, no matter what. Most all-purpose cleaners won’t do much to get rid of it.

This powerful cleaner is sure to dissolve it and get rid of it completely. It’s made specifically with grills in mind, and it’s incredibly strong.

It’s completely non-toxic, non-flammable, non-corrosive and biodegradable. You don’t have to worry about it ruining your grills or contaminating any of the food you make on it.

You can also use it on some other surfaces, also for degreasing. Stoves, ovens and so on are all surfaces you can use it on, and it won’t damage them.

If it doesn’t remove all of the mess at first, you might have to apply it again, but it will work.

The bottle is a bit bad, though, and it leaks. If you can, transfer it to a better bottle as soon as possible to avoid wasting any of it.

6. Mrs. Meyers Clean Day Multi-Surface Everyday Cleaner Honeysuckle

As always, the Mrs. Meyers cleaner is a solution which works well but also leaves behind a great scent which lasts for a long time.

This particular solution will enrich your home with the sweet and refreshing smell of honeysuckle.

It’s made mostly from natural materials, without animal testing and it’s safe to use on any non-porous surface that you want to clean.

You also won’t have it leaving any residue on those surfaces, and it won’t damage them at all. You can use it on floors, tiles, walls, countertops – you name it.

The price is simply amazing, and you get a ton of cleaning solution for the price. Three bottles for a relatively small price is just a bargain.

The bottle is good and works well though it can sometimes get stuck, which is not a huge problem, but it can get annoying.

It has no antibacterial properties as far as I can tell, which is my only major problem with it.

7. Better Life Natural All-Purpose Cleaner, Safe Around Kids & Pets

If you don’t want those nasty chemicals to get anywhere near your family and your food, you’ll need a cleaner that is all-natural.

However, the problem with such cleaners is that they can’t do the job as well as chemical cleaners do.

In the case of Better Life, it is both completely natural and able to get rid of most stains without a problem. It’s made from soap bark, coconut, and corn.

There’s nothing else added – no alcohol, petroleum, parabens, dyes or anything similar. It’s safe for you, your kids and your pets alike.

It’s great for almost everything you can think of – countertops, toilets, walls, upholstery, floors, tables and so on.

For the price, you get a lot of it and the bottle it comes in is great.

However, this isn’t a heavy-duty cleaner by any means. It works well on grease and grim, but it won’t do well with old, persistent stains.

8. Clorox Gel Cleaner with Bleach, Splash-Free

While sprayer cleaners are great for applying to different surfaces, it’s difficult to focus them on the spot you want to clean and avoid splashing them onto other surfaces.

This bleach-based gel cleaner from Clorox is designed to avoid that. The spray is focused, and since the cleaner itself is so thick and gel-like it doesn’t splash around at all.

It’s easily able to remove most stains from non-porous surfaces, and the bleach-based formula ensures that bacteria and other microbes get killed outright.

You also get a ton of cleaner for the price. The price is incredibly low for what you get, and the bottle itself is good too – no leaking and the sprayer works marvelously.

It’s also designed in such a way that every drop gets extracted out of the bottle, and you won’t waste anything.

I can’t commend the smell though – it stinks terribly, and if you want something that will freshen up your home, this is the complete opposite of that.

9. KRUD KUTTER KK32 Original Concentrated Cleaner/Degreaser

The problem with most cleaners that claim to be both all-purpose (or multi-purpose) and heavy-duty is that they usually end up being extremely effective only for one type of cleaning and mediocre for everything else.

Luckily, this super-concentrated cleaner avoids that stereotype. It works well for cleaning grease, grime, wax, oil, tar, and most other similar materials. It’s great for use on construction sites and similar spaces.

Despite its strength, it’s also completely non-toxic, non-flammable and fully biodegradable. There’s nothing unsafe in it, and it’s good to use around kids or pets.

The price is also amazing, and you get 30 ounces of it for barely any money at all – that’s what I call a good deal.

Sadly, the bottle is poor, it leaks, and the sprayer doesn’t work as well as I thought it would. I just transferred it to a better bottle straight away and got to work with it since the solution itself is great.

10. Lysol Bleach Free Hydrogen Peroxide Multi-Purpose Cleaner Spray

I hate having to dress like I’m a doctor working in a hazard zone when I just want to clean the bathroom. The gloves, the mask, it’s all just too much and stops me from cleaning effectively.

This is not a bleach-based cleaning solution but it’s instead based on hydrogen peroxide, and it’s easily able to dissolve things like grease and wax.

It’s also got antimicrobial properties, and it’s able to kill most germs that it comes into contact with.

There are no nasty smells left behind it either, and it has a fresh citrus smell to it most of the time. The smell can be a bit intense, and your pets might not be fond of it though.

The price is great as well and the bottle it comes in works well, without leaks or anything similar.

The only issue with it is that it can damage some more delicate surfaces and it does leave some residue from time to time.

11. Method Wood For Good Daily Wood Cleaner

Wood can be incredibly delicate. How many times have you bought an all-purpose cleaner that claims to be able to clean wood but you end up completely ruining your old wooden table or beautiful countertop by using it?

With this cleaning solution from Method, you won’t have to worry about ruining your wooden surfaces.

It’s a completely non-toxic and non-corrosive cleaning solution which can also give your wooden surfaces a nice shine after cleaning them.

It deals well with things like grease, grime, and more. You can rely on it to deal with persistent stains as well, at least on wooden surfaces.

You can also use it on things like tiles, windows and so on and it does a decent job of it, though it is specialized for use on wood.

The price point is great, and if you’re on a budget, you’ll definitely love this one.

The only sore point is the bottle, which is flimsy and leaky, so replace it as soon as possible if you can.

12. Method All-Purpose Cleaner, Pink Grapefruit

While Method has made a lot of great cleaners, I’d say that this all-purpose cleaning solution might be one of their best.

For this price, it’s incredible what this little bottle full of pink wonder can do, and it works well on almost any surface you can think of.

It’s good for getting rid of most stains on non-porous surfaces, and it does so without damaging them or leaving any nasty residue behind.

Oh, and the smell! It’s amazing, that natural smell of pink grapefruit that just leaves everything feeling so much fresher than before.

It is made mostly with natural ingredients, and it’s not toxic at all so you can use it around your pets or kids without worrying too much about it.

However, like with some of their other offerings, the bottle is not that great, and it definitely leaks a bit and gets stuck. It’s hard to find a better cleaning solution for this price, so I’d still recommend getting it, as long as you transfer it to a better bottle.

13. 303 Products 30204 Marine & Recreation Multi-Surface Cleaner

You’d think that a boat would be a thing that practically cleans itself – after all, it spends most of its time on the water.

However, boats and boat accessories are more difficult to clean than you might think. It becomes even more difficult if you have a larger boat with a lot of moving parts made out of different materials requiring lots of different cleaners.

Well, this multi-surface cleaner from 303 Products is designed to solve all your problems with one bottle.

It can be used on almost anything, from metal and wood to upholstery and vinyl. It’s a true multi-surface cleaner, and it can easily deal with heavily soaked stains while reviving discolored surfaces.

The bottle it comes in is great and works well – you might even want to reuse it for other cleaning solutions.

However, it’s not the ideal thing for dealing with old, persistent stain, and it does much better when dealing with recent stains.

14. The Bucko Soap Scum and Grime Remover/Bathroom Cleaner

Most cleaners designed to be used in the bathroom are great at dealing with stains in the toilet bowl or the grime between tiles and so on.

What most of them can’t deal with is one surprisingly common problem – soap scum. These soapy stains are notoriously difficult to deal with, and most cleaners do nothing to them.

This cleaner from Bucko is designed to deal with just that – and more.

It’s great at dissolving soap scum, grime, and similar stains while leaving behind a lovely shine and a pleasant lemony scent.

It contains no bleach or acidic materials, and it’s completely non-toxic and safe to use.

Besides your bathroom tiles, you can also use it on a wide variety of other materials like fiberglass, plastic, steel, chrome and so on.

The only problem with it is the high price, but sometimes it’s worth paying a bit more for a quality product that will get the job done.

15. Grill Cleaning Spray – BBQ Grid And Grill Grate Cleanser By Citrusafe

You’ve probably heard of the old recipe for cleaning grills involving some lemon juice, vinegar and possibly baking soda. Does it work? Well, kind of, but not as good as commercial cleaners.

This cleaner is based mostly upon that old recipe, which might cause some doubts but trust me – it’s better than you might think.

It can easily get rid of old grime and built-up grease and make those grills look sparkling clean.

The formula is completely non-toxic, non-flammable, non-corrosive and mostly natural so you can rest assured that your food won’t get contaminated in any way.

You can also use it on other surfaces, like ovens, cookers, microwaves, stovetops, and more. It won’t leave any residue or damage them in any way.

The bottle can leak a lot though, especially after a while, and it is better if you replace it as soon as possible.

16. Method All-Purpose Cleaner, Lime + Sea Salt

Like most of their products, this all-purpose cleaner from Method is made from completely natural ingredients. It is non-toxic, and it is fully biodegradable, so it leaves no nasty residue behind – just a lovely smell.

And it’s a fresh smell too, the fresh of smell sea salt! It lasts for a while, and it freshens up the whole room. You won’t have to use any gloves, mask, or anything similar.

You might want to keep it away from your pets though – it won’t harm them at all, but they won’t like the citrusy smell of this cleaner at all.

This cleaner is a bit more abrasive than their other offerings, but that also means it’s able to handle some tougher stains as well. You can apply it to most non-porous surfaces and get exactly the result you want.

The price is great too, for the amount that you get here and the only problem with it is the poor bottle, but that is easily solved by transferring the cleaner to a better bottle.

17. ForceField – Fabric Cleaner – Remove, Protect, and Deep Clean

Most universal or multi-surface cleansers usually can’t be used on things like furniture or carpets – in fact, most of them will ruin them completely, so you have to drape something over the furniture to avoid accidental splashing while cleaning.

Well, this cleaner is geared towards cleaning fabric, and it’s made so it can clean most types of fabric without a problem. It’s even safe to use on wool or wool-like materials, and it won’t damage them in the slightest.

It doesn’t only clean those materials, it also protects them from oily materials, and it doesn’t leave any residue behind.

It’s also able to remove most types of stains, including old and persistent ones and it doesn’t require a lot of scrubbing to do so.

The downside is that it can only be used on water-safe fabrics which rules out some types of fabrics altogether. It also has a high price tag, but that’s to be expected.

18. Professional Lysol Antibacterial Kitchen Cleaner Spray, Fresh Citrus Scent

While all cleaning solutions work as disinfectants to some point, not all of them are the best at it, and not all of them can remove some extremely nasty bacteria and viruses.

This antibacterial spray from Lysol is able to kill almost everything, including things like staph, salmonella, E coli and even things like HIV-1 and MRSA.

Despite its power in killing microbes, it’s gentle to the surfaces it cleans, and it has no abrasives or bleach inside it and minimal acidic content.

However, it easily destroys built up grease and dirt, and it’s great for use around the kitchen. There’s nothing against using it on other surfaces as well though, especially thing like walls, tiles, tables and so on.

The only major problem it has is the smell – it’s citrusy but it still smells of chemicals, and it’s definitely too strong for comfort. It might irritate your pets a lot in particular.

19. Green Works Multi-Surface Cleaner, Cleaning Spray – Original Fresh

With this Green Works multi-surface cleaner you get a great deal – 3 bottles for a price that’s just a steal. But, is it any good?

Well, it works more than adequately, and it can be applied to almost any surface around the home. It’s not a heavy-duty cleaner, but it deals with day-to-day stains well.

Besides that, it’s also completely natural, as you might have guessed by the name of the brand. It’s derived from plant materials, and it wasn’t tested on animals, so it’s vegan-friendly as well.

As a result of that, it smells rather nice, and it’s completely safe for both kids and pets. It also doesn’t leave any residue on your surfaces.

However, it doesn’t do well with certain types of stains, and it doesn’t clean grease all that well, but otherwise, it’s a good natural cleaner for an amazing price.

20. Babyganics Multi Surface Cleaner, Fragrance Free

Having a baby is extremely stressful, especially when you bring it home and discover that almost everything there is some sort of potential hazards.

Of course, a baby means a lot of cleaning too and most cleaners, even kid-safe ones, might not be safe for your baby.

The Babyganics cleaner is made to be safe for all the little ones, and it’s completely organic – hence the name.

There’s nothing dangerous in it – no bleach, ammonia, phosphates, sulfates, phthalates, dyes, artificial fragrances and so on. There’s nothing which could trigger or cause an allergy either.

Its plant-derived formula is also not liable to cause skin irritation, and it has been rigorously tested by dermatologists.

The price isn’t high either, even though you might expect it to be. It works well on most stains too – you don’t need chemicals to clean well.

The only problem here is the bottle – it’s poorly made and it leaks. Transfer it to a better spray bottle, and it’ll all be great.

21. PURELL Multi Surface Disinfectant Spray – Fresh Fragrance

How many times have you forgotten to rinse some surface after you sprayed it with a cleaner or disinfectant? Then you have to throw away the food you put on it, and everything just ends up being a bit messy.

This multi-surface disinfectant from PURELL is made to eliminate that problem. You don’t need to scrub or rinse to get it to kill most of the germs you can find – just spray it and forget it.

It’s great for all sorts of surfaces and won’t damage granite, laminate or glass.

It works in seconds too and can kill most germs in under a minute; you don’t have to leave it sitting there for long.

The price is not too demanding, and the bottle it comes in is good as well.

The only problem is that it doesn’t do a great job at cleaning, even though it’s great as a disinfectant.

22. Clorox Clean-Up Bleach Cleaner Spray Value Pack of 3

Bleach-based cleaners have a horrible reputation these days, and that might be a bit undeserved. Yes, they can be dangerous, but only if used incorrectly – and the reason they became popular in the first place is because they clean better than most others.

They are also great at disinfecting and that’s proven by this clean-up spray from Clorox which is based on bleach and kills up to 99% of all germs.

It’s also able to easily deal with grime, grease, dirt, and even long-lasting persistent stains on most surfaces. Most bathroom surfaces, metal sinks, your fridge, and so on are fair game with this cleaner.

The bottle it comes in is good as well – a Clorox standard with Smart Tube technology, which ensures that you don’t waste a single drop.

With all that said, the smell is just horrendous, and I can’t stand it – for some, it might be a deal breaker.

What’s The Best Push Cleaner?

So, after finding out how good some of these products are, there must be just one question on your lips – what is the absolute best push cleaner?

That’s what I’ll tell you right now by revealing my top three picks from the bunch.

Top Pick – Clorox Gel Cleaner with Bleach, Splash-Free

I thought about this for a while, and I have to say that this is by far my favorite of the bunch. I love the no-splash formula, and it is able to clean almost everything you put it on – it’s definitely one of the best out there.

Runner-Up – Babyganics Multi Surface Cleaner, Fragrance Free

I just had to include this as the runner-up since it works well and it’s definitely the safest push cleaner that I could find out there. You have to get this one if you have little ones running around the house.

Budget-Friendly Pick – Formula 409 Multi-Surface Cleaner, Spray Bottle, Lemon

If you’re a bit short on budget, don’t worry – I got something for you as well. This cleaner is almost as good as some of the top ones but comes at a bargain, and you get a ton of it. It will last you for months, and it’s incredibly budget-friendly.
